True courage

The show “True courage” today at 1.30 pm shows how a mother loses her 8 year old son overnight, due to intracerebral haemorrhage, a spontaneous bleeding into the brain tissue. It is a very rare case and is fatal, the operation to remove blood clot did not help the son regain conciousness. I burst into tears when doctors advised the mother to let the son go as he is only living on life support. I feel deeply for the pain of the mother losing her only son.

After declaring the death of the son, the doctors asked for permission to donate the organs. Like me, the mother thinks that once a person leaves the world, organ donation is the right thing to do since the human body is no longer in use. Unknowingly, you might help those who wants to continue living but cannot because of organ failure. The son's organs had given 3 persons a new lease of life, and had helped 2 others regain their eyesight.

I think I will never have that kind of courage the mother have to handle the pain. She is simply incredible.
