H1N1?

I can't even remember when is the last time he had fever, he is rarely sick. After having high fever continuously for a few days, he decided to head down to tan tock seng emergency for fear that he might have H1N1. We waited for a good 4 hours before we can leave the hospital.

He was guided to wait at the area for patients with fever, while visitors can only stay at the visitors' area, where I was, feeding mosquitoes. @#$%&

The doctor had a x-ray done for him because of his chronic cough, and found out that he had slight pneumonia, white patches seen in the lungs' x-ray. He was given some better antibiotics and 7 days MC, and a referral letter to return to the hospital to see a specialist 2 weeks later (but he didn't go). He asked the doctor if any test needed to be done for H1N1 and the doctor replied no because H1N1 is too common now and need not be tested anymore, unless you belong to the high risks patients.

Shopping

Dylan had a fever out of a sudden the day before. He did not appear tired or lethargic, and also did not show other symptoms. I gave him his fever medicine and his fever has since gone down. Boy didn't go to work to stay home to take care of Dylan yesterday.

Later in the evening, we went to the mall to have dinner. We went shopping for my sports bra as I have started my routine gym session at lunch time. I had wanted to go look for a similar one, like the pierre cardin sports bra I bought last year at $29+, but we couldn't find it anywhere. We came across a nike sports bra at $59 and I like it very much but I didn't want to buy it because it is not within my budget. Boy insisted I have it since I like it and it is suitable, he paid for it at $53 after a discount. I love the gift.

We proceeded to NTUC for some neccessities, and when we passed by the party section, we decided to get Dylan's birthday goodies bag, so we can distribute to his friends at school. Some kit kats, oreo biscuits, raisins, sweets, and tidbits make us spend like a hundred bucks. Are you interested in the goodies bag?

A warm welcome to our new friend Liya who joined us this week

We introduced the letter sound ‘k’ as in kite, The children were excited when the teacher played the music and did the kangaroo’s jump.

We introduced the number rods and sandpaper numeral 6, the children were asked to count the red and blue number rods. Most of the children are settling in very well now and are able to concentrate and sit for longer period during lesson.

Da chi xi

Located at the cross junction of joo chiat road and koon seng road, we came here because ah yi saw some variety program on TV saying this noodle restaurant has very good food, apparently it is very overly rated, or maybe because we already have high expectations of the restaurant that it ruins my rating.

Some salty chicken and fried mushroom (only these 2 dishes are nice)

The noodle has nothing to be praised for, the chilli is also weird that it ruins the noodle

The fried jiu cai jiao is still fine but we are not happy with the vegetables being served COLD

By the time everybody finishes all the above dishes and was ready to leave, my noodles arrive, and I already have no appetite for what I ordered, the impression of the other dishes has already tells me how bad this is going to be. This 5 person meal cost us $70+++. BAD, both boy and me swear we are never ever returning to this place.
