After christmas

A day after christmas, we went to fuji xerox towers to have our camera fixed, gotta pay $70 to replace the lens mechanism, the service lady had quoted us additional $50 for labour cost, and that will add up to $120+, we wanted to give up the repair, we commented on the durability of the nikon camera, and the lady is willing to withdraw the labour cost, one comment saves us $50. Proceeded to marina square, purpose is to do exchange of my christmas present.

Boy bought me this christmas present, he got me a size of women 12, too big, did an exchange to size women 10. This is my most expensive pair of shoes.

We then went to Sakae, had wanted to have just a small bite, but end up we still eat up to $35.86.

Fried vege (i forgot the name) & chawanmushi

Fried tofu & fried hotate

This jumping seater is so nice, and the price is also nice at $239.

Went opposite to Velocity, novena square for dinner at the food court, suddenly I find novena square pretty big with the extension. Too bad, boy and mummy not interested in shopping.

Merry Christmas 2007

Picked boy up from work at 3.30 pm on christmas eve, and we went vivocity for shopping, boy has never been there before! All the photos are with rujie, will update once she send me. We had wanted to have dinner at Marche at vivocity but the queue is extremely long, so we gave up. Sent rujie back to ang mo kio after some shopping at Giant, then we went to ang mo kio hub (again boy has never been there) for dinner: fish & co., it was 9 pm by the time we reached, and there was still a long queue, no choice, we queue for half an hour before we managed to get in.

New york fish & chips

Fried & grilled calamari, wonder why how come each piece is extremely big, no good...

4 person share 1 jungle freeze, just nice

I wonder if the waitress is tired of bringing us more sauces

The log cake I had tried, one at my place, another one at home.

Swensen treat

Went back home yesterday, boy drove the car to work, so I took baby on his sarong and went to take bus 969 home, it was a last minute decision to go home. Mummy received $200 swensen's cash voucher from the company, so we went to enjoy free food at causeway point. Total bill = $57.59, used 3 X $20 vouchers. John Little has a 20% storewide sale till this sunday only, mummy bought pretty bedsheets for me!

Dylan's best photo

Best photo of the week, taken while bathing him at mummy's home.

Ajisen dinner

Went to the mall, we are looking at where we can have dinner because everywhere is pack with people. Went to body shop to buy my crayon concealer, had apply for $10 discount voucher from UOB uni dollar, the reward scheme. Had a short window shopping before we pass by Ajisen and decided to have dinner in there. Spending: $32.49 for 2 set meals.

Ice green tea, do they purposely make the tea bitter so that customers will drink less?

Chicken cutlet & fried tofu

My miso cha shu ramen. Boy ordered dry chicken teriyaki ramen, anyway he never likes ramen, so it was an awful dinner for him. I couldn't finish the ramen, too big bowl!

Actually I am happy and contented enough that we can go out have a walk and have dinner outside. Just one comment from me and that ruins everything. When we were about to reach home, I merely jokingly say that I didn't manage to get anything, and he have to blew up and tell me not to ask him out for shopping again if I want to complain. Hey, c'mon, I am NOT complaining, you should know that I had already been very thrifty, and I had stop all my shopping desires. I will not buy anything unnecessarily, and I think thrice at whatever I want to buy. You have to ruin the day with your words.

Resentment

Baby cried, I woke up. Its six in the morning and I saw him still at the desk. He is always playing his game till dawn before he goes to bed. It makes me feel that all he cares is the game. I always sleep alone, and that makes me feel kind of lonely. I told him, but he don't care. Now, where's my husband? He don't want to do anything else but play his game.

"Can you sleep or not?" I asked. He said okok, and slept beside me, sticking to me, wanting to hug me. I pushed him away, and tell him to sleep further away, but he refused. Finally, I told him to go away or else I can't sleep because I am too angry. He asked me why, and my reply was: "you wouldn't understand even if I tell you". He turned away from me. I have a husband who doesn't sleep with me because all he wants is to play his game. I really should mock at myself. He might as well marry a game and not me. He doesn't know what I want actually. Every night, I wish that I can have him by my side, talk to me till we fell asleep, but that is a tall order, or should I say it is a never-will-happen reality. His happiness, his every day life, his temper all evolve around the game, he would throw his temper at the mouse or even me if there is a problem with the game.

What does he even treat me as? I am a resentful and lonely wife, does he know that? He would rather play his game than accompany me. I asked him to take me to the mall tomorrow and it seems to be a torture to him, because he can't play his game.

A simple wish, a simple life, I don't ask for much, but he never get it.
