A very warm welcome to our new classmate! Khaizuran!

This term, we traveled to Australia. This week the children were introduced to the shape of Australia’s landform. For Art & Craft, we made a well known sign in Australia that says “Caution! Kangaroos are nearby!” The children enjoyed painting the sign yellow and pasting the kangaroo shape.

This week the children learnt that they can see with their eyes. The children were given objects to identify.

A simple lesson to start for the year is number rod one. The children are able to point and name ‘number rod one’.

Sandpaper letter ‘c’ is given to the children to feel and trace. The children are taught ‘ker’ is the sound of c. example given are Caden, Caleb, cup, cat, carrot, cow, cake, caterpillar and camel.

A jotter book is given with all the words and picture beginning with the letter sound “ker” (c ), for you to revise with your child, kindly return the jotter book on Monday.
