We introduce the colour ‘blue’ to the children. The children were given blue objects to play with. To reinforce the concept, the teacher pointed to their uniform, which is blue in colour.
This week’s letter sound is ‘p’ as in pig, police and purple. The children played ‘police and thief’ but everyone ended up running in circle in the classroom.
In Sensorial exercise, the children were given the ‘touch board’. with rough and smooth surfaces. Most of the children like the smooth surface compared to the rough surface.
The theme for this month is ‘flower’. The children were given a variety of flowers to observe, such as ixora, bird of paradise and bougainvillea. Most of the children like the bird of paradise.
