As national day is around the corner, the playgroup class has been very busy making art work such as flag ‘bunting’, national flag and colour a picture of multi racial children.
Also, for this week’s lesson, we introduced hot/cold to them by letting them touch a plastic bag of warm water and ice cubes respectively.
For cultural, we discussed briefly about our national flag, multi cultural costumes and food paradise in Singapore.
It’s PARTY time on Wednesday. The children celebrated RACIAL HARMONY DAY with teachers and friends.
Everyone looked so pretty and handsome with their bright traditional clothes. Check out our lovely Liya as she paraded her bi-cultured costumes which were from China and Middle-East respectively.
The children also tasted different food such as tosai, pineapple tart, kueh baulu and many more. Thank you parents for contributing the lovely food.
