Ceiling Fan
One not so fine morning, I probably woke up too cranky or too grumpy, stupidly swung my hand too hard and hit the pulling string of my ceiling fan and made it hit one of the light covers. As the tiny glass pieces broke and rain down on my bed, I jumped out of range and as Dylan heard the commotion, stepped out of his bedroom to ask what happen. Luckily I grabbed his hand and stopped him in time to prevent him from stepping on broken glasses.
I am not sure whether I also at the same time damaged the on/off function of the light switch, making it extremely annoying and frustrating to pull the string to on or off the lights. Anyway I managed to find the company in charge of servicing the ceiling fan to come fix it (1st October 2012 before 12pm). Replacement of the light cover is about $30 excluding GST.
I also asked for the cost to change the switch to remote control and wall switch:
Remote control - $120
Wall switch - $150
(Excluding GST)
My god, I have 5 similar ceiling fans at home!
