New lift

The new lift is finally officially working! After the long wait, we finally received notice that we can now use the new constructed lift. We had noticed that all the other blocks have their walls painted already, but our block is so special, we just wonder why they take so long to get it painted. Heard from mummy that the neighbour opposite complained to the town council that if the lift landing is going to be this ugly pattern, they are not going to pay a cent. I took the lift for the first time last night, and it feels so 'shiok' that we no longer need to take the lift to the 9th floor and climb one storey down to the eighth. This lift project is supposed to be completed before the end of 2008, but it is already the beginning of the new year and it is still not yet fully done, but still, I am glad we can use the lift now.
