Jiayi and kian how came over to visit me, erm no is visit the baby yesterday. They came over despite the heavy rain that last till evening.


Would have send them to ang mo kio because we were supposed to go for lesson at the church for baby Dylan's baptise, but the rain ruined the trip. It was dangerous to go out so we cancelled the trip. To go for lesson only after chinese new year. Both of them ended up taking a cab to ang mo kio as jiayi had arranged earlier to meet her hubby there.

NUH visit

The usual process once we reached NUH would be to do the registration, wait for the nurse to ask me to take baby Dylan's weight and height measurements. Thereafter, we would go to the room for blood tests. Baby Dylan would go in, and I would be asked to stay outside. After awhile, you would hear baby Dylan crying very hard in pain, and it would last for a few mins, which feels like hours. It is heartwrenching to hear the painful cries. Because babies' veins are too small to draw blood, the nurse had to poke the needle in and let blood drip on its own. I guess it's more painful this way. For the past few times, the nurse would take blood from one of the hand, near the knuckles. However, this time round, the nurse said they tried but no blood came out, so they use the leg. No wonder I felt that this time the blood taking seems to take so long, baby Dylan had two blue-blacks as a result. Dr. Loke said he is growing very well. The medication will optimise his growth. No need to increase the medication yet from the blood test results.


Next visit would be on 4th February, 2.40 pm
