Sakae sushi

Went to sakae for dinner because boy got a $20 cash voucher by signing up as member the previous time he went to sakae with ah yi. When we reached the restaurant at about 7.30 pm, the queue was so long as if sakae is giving away free gifts. So we went window shopping until about 8.15 pm when boy complained that he was very hungry. Luckily the queue left 2 couples only, we ate till 9.35 pm and realised it is too late to go to NTUC already, and indeed it was closed when we reached. We proceeded to GIANT for groceries shopping and spent $138. Oh god, are we stocking for war time?

With the voucher, we paid $31 for the remainders, we are big eaters.


Baby Dylan was protesting throughout the meal, he didn't want to sit in his pram.

4 months old: 19-Nov-07

Baby Dylan had his 2nd vaccine, he is a brave boy, didn't cry at all when the needle poke into his backside. I feel pain for him though. I had an injection also, contraceptive purpose, can last for 3 months. The jab is so bloody painful, it felt like the doctor had inject a needle of 'blue-black' into me @#$%, it is still very painful now.


I realised he had fever at 38.5 degree celsius this morning when I woke up to feed him. He was so cranky, refused to sleep and wanted carry. Fed him the fever medicine the doctor gave him and tried to cool him down. Fever gone by afternoon. He is good and well now~

Food and more food

(Saturday) Boy went to work at four seasons hotel, was alone at home so went off to meet celestine at AMK hub, had dinner at the food court. The mall was packed with people, waited for her beau to arrive and we had anderson's ice cream, yummm!

(Sunday) Met meihui, clement, and blah for dim sum at Tien court, King's copthorne hotel level 2. The food are superbly good. Thanks mummy for her good skills~

Congratulations to this new couple wedded on this important day 14 November 2007. May both live in marital bliss forever after. We were nearly late for the event because of rain and heavy traffic, had some difficulty looking for the place: Stardust Clubhouse @ river valley road.

High tea day

Ah yi took us to Shang palace @ Shangri-la hotel for high tea, spend about $160+for the 5 of us (ah tung, mummy, ah yi, boy and me). If you are a fussy dim sum critic, it is not worth coming back here for the 2nd time. Food rating: average only la. Service rating: pretty good.

Baby Dylan sure look like their son

After the meal at Shang palace, we went over to marina square for more high tea. Pop over to Crocs, surprised that boy is interested in getting one, he used to detest it. I wanted to dissuade him to buy because it is awfully expensive but happen that ah yi is willing to sponsor $50. Thank you so much!


Price: $85.55 + (3 X $4.25) = $98.30


Bought 2 new tops for baby Dylan, offer price at $9.90 each, mummy sponsors.


Imperial kitchen la mian xiao long bao @ marina square (beside secret recipe). The la mian is good I would say, price reasonable also, better than Shang palace.
