Went to JB for petrol yesterday night. Was very full when we went in but came out hungry because we took 1 hour to clear the custom. Brought boy and rujie to the coffee shop near moo's place where I had the nice prawn noodles. Sorry moo for not asking you to join us because I knew you were with sam, didn't want to spoil your romantic night *haha*.

Price: $3

Rujie had her soup prawn bee hoon

Supper @ Joo Seng Road

There is only this 24 hrs coffeeshop along this road. The very first stall sells very good 'fish dumping' noodles, but the fish dumpling is usually sold out after midnight. We went there at 2 am, so we just had fishball noodles.

'Mee tai mak' - dry
Price: $3
Rating: 8/10

I went to order drinks, the uncle must be sleepy, I told him my order which is total 3 cups but he heard me wrongly and thought I want 5 drinks in total and when I corrected him, he still say he already make the drinks and insist I take it. Why would I want 5 drinks for only 3. @#$%&

Luckily there is this man standing right behind me and told the uncle he will take the remaining 2 drinks he made and resolved the misunderstanding. I wonder if there is no one to come to my aid, will the uncle force me to take the drinks...

Dinner @ Miss Clarity Café

Place: 5 Purvis Street #01-04 Singapore 188584

Finally, the day arrived for the 4 sillies to meet. Joyce took us to this cafe near bugis. The cafe offer very fair and reasonable price range of food. Will bring boy to this cafe soon to try out again.

I had this 'Black pepper crispy chicken' - breaded chicken thigh, cooked till golden brown, drenched in clarity's special black pepper sauce.
Price: $7.50
Rating: 8.5/10

Joyce and Kelly had this 'Roasted chicken leg' - whole roasted chicken leg with mouth watering mushroom and potato fricassee
Price: $9.80

Ling had this 'Chicken ballotine' - oven baked chicken thigh stuffed with fresh shitake mushroom, drenched with mushroom sauce
Price: $8.80

We only had this 'Bread & butter pudding with vanilla ice-cream' because both the 'Mud ooze' and 'Brownie' is sold out, how sad.
Price: $4.30
My rating: 6/10 (I will prefer brownie to this kind of pudding)

Total spend: $44.70 including a jug of barley @ $4.50 (not worth it, only manage to pour 4 pathetic small cups out of it)

Gynae appointment

Appointment at 12.15 pm. If you can understand the picture, you can actually see the baby's head and its upper body. Doctor Heng said my baby got a big head and a small body, unproportionate but it is ok.

Boy laughed it off because he himself got a big head too, baby is just like him!

We had lunch at the nearby hawker, near Bedok interchange. He had nasi lemak while I had laksa. Not nice, the noodle is not cooked enough and the soup is not tasty, will not patronise this stall again.

Price: $2.50
Rating: 3/10

Tabao some snacks home:

We bought the small 'soon kway' instead of the usual big ones. The skin is soft and the filling is very nice. Gotta tabao somemore at my appointment next month.
Price: $2 for 5 pieces
Rating: 8.5/10

'Peng kway' - rice cake, mini ones also
Price: $2 for 4 pieces
Rating: 8.5/10

A day at north

The event's company gave boy another 2 days job but stretches all the way from Monday 11.30 pm to Tuesday 7 pm. Having to be left alone at home, I decided to make my time useful, to go meet my beloved buddy. Met her at around midnight and we went for supper (only I eat).

Prawn noodle - dry @ Blk 313 Sembawang coffee shop (24 hrs)
Price: $3
Rating: 8.5 / 10

My only pair of slippers which I can still wear decided to play a joke on me, luckily got daddy to help me fix using superglue

After the prawn noodle, we had to walk to Sembawang MRT for some cash, its a long walk and I need to get a rest halfway through. Took many pictures and the night is NOT cooling at all, I was nearly soaked in perspiration during photography. Reached home at 3 am. Had a hard time falling asleep because of my heavy stomach and maybe because its not my bed afterall.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Woke up at about 1+pm today. I didn't really had a good sleep, woke up like almost 30 times throughout the night. Jiayi bought 'ban mian' for my lunch at 2 pm. Then mummy asked me to go for dinner at 5 pm. Boy called at 7 pm, asked me to meet him at City Hall to go back home together.

While on the way to meet boy at the MRT platform

Boy was pretty tired but needed dinner, we proceeded to Suntec for Marche but only to realise that Suntec Marche closed down already. We ended up at Fish & Co, I only wanted desserts but he asked me to order main course too so that he can eat more. We had 2 sets of the same food, addition $5.50 per pax for a complete meal (soup + drink). Total spend: $47.10

My lemon tea
Mushroom soup
New York fish & chips

Moo's night

Jiayi called and asked if I am interested to pick her at Mount Elizabeth Hospital (her work place), said she got some party food to tabao home. Went since I felt so bored at home. Eaten the stuff she brought back and went off to meet moo, we went driving for awhile before we ended up at Woodlands Civic Centre to return the book I had borrowed from the library.

Sat around for awhile outside the centre.

Both of us couldn't understand why the people walking along the street just couldn't avoid that pathetic dustbin when the road is so spacious to walk through.

Did not take enough photos, damn...

Was feeling very embarrassed when suddenly Huilin, Cynthia, Wanseen, and Junhao appearred out of nowhere to greet me. Didn't know how to react, so malu... Anyway, happy birthday to Cynthia. So after that we quickly left and drove around not knowing where to find a quiet place to chill out, we ended up at the kopitiam behind Yishun Golden Village. Boy came and joined us at about 10+ pm after he knocked off, thanks to his colleague who gave him a lift here, save me the trip to go fetch him.

The food he ordered for his dinner:

Chee Cheong Fun
Rating: 5.5/10
Price: $2

Chicken Cutlet
Rating: 7.5/10
Price: $5.50

Hungrily devouring his food

We left the kopitiam at about 1 am when he suggested going to Theong Bee Road for chee cheong fun *again*, but realised the place is packed with people (even though the place is pretty ulu). He dropped the idea of sitting in that busy kopitiam and had no idea where to go next, then he drove towards Mandai Zoo which I don't know why. We nearly ended up at Kranji or Bukit Timah at the end of the road so he made an U-turn back which is ultra far. He got pretty pissed off when I asked him to slow down when he started to speed. Made the atmosphere in the car stand still, so I just as well asked him to send moo home. He ignored me the whole journey back home and don't even bother to ask when he needed directions to go back Tampines. We had an enjoyable night before that, why can't he just be patient and understanding whilist driving.

What I really wish to tell him is: "You know I will be frightened and you purposely want to speed then when I start to ask you to slow down and sometimes gasp when I got scared, you just go around yelling at me when all you could do is drive carefully and make me feel at ease then I wouldn't react in a way that you hate. You're the one who created the situation and unhappiness. You think that I did it on purpose when everytime all I expressed is my fear which I cannot control at all. The reactions are all natural, I didn't do it purposely to let you see, but you did not try to understand and thought that I am trying to irritate you in this way."

Big moth

Boy's friend introduced him to a 2 days job (yesterday and today) for an events company. I am glad he accepted the work to earn some pocket money even though its only for 2 days. Woke up with him this morning at 8 am. After he left for work, I realised there's a big moth in the kitchen sink when I wanted to wash some dishes. I waited for some hours before I got frustrated with it still there, so I tried trapping it but failed and it flew out of the window. Relieved, I washed the dishes, and halfway through, the monster flew back in again and startled me and made me go scrambling and banging the kitchen door. After awhile, I opened the kitchen door to check its whereabouts and realised the monster had found a place to rest, just right above the kitchen door. Time sure pass so slowly, I am so bored with all the games already, this monster gave me something to blog *haha*.

It is still there, stop harrassing me, please go away...

Gelare and more supper

Boy promised me to go to Gelare this Tuesday for the half price waffle. I think its too expensive to have it when its not on half price (original price: $6 for the waffle). We went to the one at East Coast. I want to go there again next Tuesday... pleaseee...

He had the cappuccino ice-cream while I had my favourite cookies and cream.
Price: $3 (half-price) for the waffle and $2.50 for 1 scoop of ice-cream = $5.50

Met up with Jacob at Jalan Kayu at the newly open Selegie Soya Bean before we set off to JB for 'lok lok' and petrol.

His 'chin chow' + soya bean drink

Show you my 40 inches stomach which is very heavy to carry it around.

It looks like a full blown balloon though.

After we came out from JB, we went to Theong Bee Road (along Sembawang Road) for la kopi session. Tabao cha siew rice + 'shio bak' for his uncle's supper, the cha siew is so tempting but we were too full to have anything or else we would have taken our 3rd dose of supper *haha*. Reached home at about 3.20 am.

Friday Night

We were practically doing nothing the whole day except gaming until about 8+ pm when I pestered him for dinner. The amazing thing is he can play until he do not need to eat, drink, smoke, sleep, and forgot about my existence. He's currently addicted to this game called MonsterMU.

I got nothing to do so I played also using his uncle's laptop, once he's back tomorrow, I won't be able to play anymore *sianz*.

After much reminder that we need to take dinner, we went to KFC @ Kallang.

aww... my adorable cheese fries...

And coincidentally, we bumped into Jacob, Rayn, and Carrie (I don't know if this is the right spelling) eating there too. Sat together for awhile before we left for Chinatown to pick Rujie and her friend to JB. Brought them for 'lok lok', complimentary petrol from Rujie: 38 RM total.

While waiting for Rujie at Chinatown

Sent them back home and we headed to Geylang Lorong 39 to meet Jacob and Daniel for some Rochor 'dou hway' (soyabean). Sua tiuz to Bendemeer prata at about 3 am as Jacob went to fetch Rayn and Carrie from MOS. We sat there talk cock and laugh until my baby couldn't rest in my stomach, was dancing inside. Show ended: 6.10 am (need to get back at 7 am - red plate car ma) before we sent Carrie home, now then I know she stay Tampines and is very near to our place: Street 81. Was feeling abit nauseous so went to grab a quick bite at block 915 coffee shop. Bed time: 8 am

12 April 2007

Night out

I just keep thinking of having some desserts yesterday even though I had a big pack of chicken rice for dinner. So pestered my boy to bring me to Eastlink food court at about 9.30 pm. That's what we had:

Ching teng (not as nice as the one I had in Chong Pang)
Price: $1.50

Carrot cake, popiah, fried soon kway, fried jiu cai jiao
Price: $4

He called Jacob and found out he's going to this place somewhere in Ubi to see his friends play remote control car, so we went along.

They just make the cars going in circles and circles and I wonder what's so fun about it.

Guys and just guys, he just squat around to see them play without getting bored. Luckily Rayn was around to talk to me, or else I would have turn into mould myself. After they sua tiuz, Jacob, Rayn and we went to the prata shop behind Kembangan MRT station to la kopi. Reached home about 2.30 am, but only got onto bed to sleep at 6.15 am after hours of pillow talk and MU gaming.

Expensive day

Woke up at 10 am yesterday to send mummy to the airport, a 5 days trip to Taipei for a short holiday with her colleague.

On the way to the airport

We had our lunch at the airport, an incredible expensive lunch, cost me $31 for the 3 of us.

Chicken cutlet
Price: $8.80

Laksa
Price: $5.40

After we left the airport, we headed to Sin Ming Industrial Estate to fix the car CD player, we can only get it back 2 weeks later, so there's only silence in the car, no more radio...

Next destination is to fix the car horn at Lavendar, we were nearly roasted at the place, the weather is horrible.

We went to this Hainanese Chicken Rice shop just right beside the Settler's cafe @ Katong. The food is expensive and overall rating for this place is 3/10, will never come here again. Spent $12.70.

The expensive and bad tasting food hainanese chicken rice shop

He suggested to go Settler's Cafe as he has never been there before. 2 hours of gaming and free flow of drinks, $9 per pax = $18 + 10% service charge = $19.80

Approximate amount spent for the day: $92.50

Reached home at about 8 pm last night and we were knocked out by 9.30 pm, he was more tired than me as he didn't sleep for the whole night the day before because he was busy catching on with his VCD.
